Clinical Affiliates

Clinical training at local affiliating institutions is an essential component of the Respiratory Care Program.

Clinical training includes rotations focusing on intensive respiratory care, airway management and mechanical ventilation; general respiratory care; pulmonary rehabilitation; sub-acute and long-term care; neonatal and pediatric respiratory care; pulmonary function testing and sleep diagnostics. Students are assigned to various clinical sites throughout the two-year program and are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from all off-campus clinical assignments.
