Submitting a Paper Via Email

  1. Access your email program and in the subject field write your course and instructor.
  2. Download and complete the Submission Form, and attach it to the email message.
  3. Your Assignment: (Please copy the exact assignment from your assignment sheet or syllabus; if the assignment was given orally, do your best to explain what your instructor is asking for. Also, be sure to include the significant criteria [number of pages or number of words, number of sources, etc.]).
  4. Your Questions: You must provide the E-Tutor with questions that you have about the text to help focus the tutorial session. Please be as specific as possible about what kind of response you would like or the kinds of problems you are having with this paper. It is not appropriate to ask an E-Tutor to "check my grammar" or "see if this makes sense."
  5. Your Essay: Paste a copy of your essay into the body of the e-mail and attach a copy saved as a MicroSoft Word document. We cannot process documents saved in MicroSoft Works or WordPerfect.
  6. Send your submission to wcenter@ncc.edu
