If you attended any term on or after Summer 2022, you may register for Summer 2023 by logging into your myNCC Portal beginning March 13, 2023 at 8am.
Acceptance as a non-degree student means that you are not matriculated into a program of study and are not eligible for state, federal financial aid or loan programs.
Personal Enrichment: you do not intend to earn a degree or certificate at Nassau Community College but rather plan to take one or more courses for personal enrichment, for transfer to another college or for professional growth.
If you have never attended Nassau Community College or attended prior to Summer 2022, you must submit proof of either high school graduation and /or completion of a college degree to complete the application process. Once admitted, you may register for Summer 2023 by logging into your myNCC Portal, beginning March 27, 2023 at 8 am.
Students who are matriculated at another institution may, with the permission of their home institution, study at Nassau Community College for up to two consecutive semesters, while still maintaining matriculated status at their home institution. Visiting students may begin registering for Summer 2023 classes on March 27, 2023 at 8 am.
If you are currently attending another University/College, complete a Visiting Student Application and attach proof of enrollment at your Home Institution. Acceptable proof of enrollment: Nassau Community College’s Home Institution Approval form which is included with the application, a permission form from your home school, or an enrollment verification from the National Student Clearinghouse.
If you have previously attended Nassau Community College, left for at least one year, and wish to re-enroll, you must complete a new application.
Students wishing to return to Nassau Community College to complete degree-requirements must apply as Non-degree for Summer and submit a separate application as Degree-Seeking for Fall.
Students who intend to pursue a degree at Nassau Community College are encourage to review degree requirements with an Academic Advisor. Be aware that academic advisement may be limited during Summer Sessions.
All financial aid/student loan questions or concerns must be discussed with the Office of Financial Aid.
Returning students may begin registering for Summer 2023 as non-degree students by logging into your MyNCC Portal, on March 27, 2023 at 8 am.
