In choosing to continue your education at Nassau Community College, you've made a really smart decision.  It's a decision that will enrich your life and reward you in many ways.  

To help you get the most out of your Nassau experience, we've prepared an informative and enjoyable New Student Orientation program that will ease your transition to college and help you learn about Nassau. 

  • Student Orientation is offered in-person and online and participation in at least one format of is mandatory for all new students
  • You must register for classes before you can sign up for the in-person Orientation
  • By attending Orientation, you get a chance to meet classmates and learn helpful ideas on how to do well in your classes while having good time in college. 
 

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR IN-PERSON ORIENTATION

  1. Login to your MyNCC Portal account
  2. Follow the Schedule Orientation link found on the LAUNCHPAD
  3. Click on the icon and select date and time.

You will receive an email confirmation in your NCC email account.

 

HOW TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE ORIENTATION PROGRAM

  1. Login to your MyNCC Portal account
  2. Follow the Online Schedule Orientation link found on the LAUNCHPAD
  3. You will automatically be logged in to start the Online Student Orientation

 

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR IN-PERSON SCHEDULE

  • Go back to Schedule Orientation
  • Select Remove on your previous date and time
  • Select Delete Reservation
  • After you have deleted the previous reservation, you will be allowed to select a different date or time.
