August 2021 and December 2021 graduates are automatically part of the Commencement
Program Book as you have already graduated SUNY Nassau in the prior year. The deadline
for May 2022 prospective graduates to submit a graduation application was February
28, 2022. If you submitted your graduation application on time by the mentioned deadline,
your name will also be included in the Commencement Program Book. If you would like
to confirm that you have a graduation application on file, log into your MyNCC Student
Portal | click on Student Academic | click on View Graduation Application.
A highlight of graduation is the introduction of each candidate during the Line of
March. Graduates will be given an identification card when they arrive at the Coliseum
on Wednesday, May 25th. Note that the card permits a phonetic spelling of their name.
It is suggested that students use phonetics to simplify and insure the accuracy of
the pronunciation of their name. A televised image will be projected on the four-sided
Jumbotron above the arena floor.
With the graduates’ approval, they will be photographed by a professional photographer.
Photographs will be sent to their home for your optional purchase.
Each SUNY Nassau 2022 Graduate will receive 8 tickets for their guests for Commencement.
