Garden City, NY — Nassau Community College celebrates Black History Month 2020 with a series of events illustrating the African American experience.

Every Tuesday and Thursday in February (except during Winter Break)

Journalist, Commentator, Columnist Charles M. Blow
Blow, an Op Ed columnist at The New York Times, tackles hot-button issues like social justice, racial equality and the Black Lives Matter movement. He is author of the award-winning Fire Shut Up in My Bones. Blow will be the keynote speaker at the:

Veteran journalist Renee Chenault-Fattah is especially interested in health disparities that result from racial and economic inequality and how technology can provide possible solutions
