Nassau Community College's Center for Workforce Development Presents the Small Business Tax Planning Seminar December 2

Garden City, NY – The Center for Workforce Development at Nassau Community College is offering the affordable Small Business Tax Planning Seminar on Friday, December 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the College Center Building on the NCC campus. For a fee of $20, the seminar is a cost-effective way for employees, managers and small business owners to further develop their skills.

The Small Business Tax Planning Seminar, conducted in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service, will benefit established small businesses, those just getting started and individuals anticipating going into business. Discussion topics include:  tax tips for start-up businesses; the legal structure for existing and emerging businesses; business use of the home; and taxes (employment, sales and self-employment). Certified Public Accountant Marylou DelBene will conduct the seminar.The Center for Workforce Development at Nassau Community College offers a wide spectrum of high quality, cost-effective communications, computer and supervisory programs to business, industry, government, healthcare and non-profit organizations. Each program can be customized to meet an individual company's needs.Seating for the Small Business Tax Planning Seminar is limited.
