Classics For Kids at Nassau Community College Presents "The Mikado" with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players

March 29 Garden City -  NY Classics for Kids at Nassau Community College is proud to present the delightful comic operetta The Mikado with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, which will take place on Sunday, March 29 at 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. in the College Center Building. This enchanting show is set in Titipu, a fictitious Japanese town full of colorful characters including three little maids from school, a wandering minstrel, a hilariously corrupt politician and a Lord High Executioner who is too tender-hearted to actually execute anyone, even a fly! This Mikado is a one-hour, principals-only adaptation performed by the professional New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players.

Classics for Kids is sponsored by the Nassau Community College Cultural Program. Tickets for The Mikado cost $1.50 per person. Since seating is limited, parents are urged to purchase tickets well in advance. For more information, call 516.572.7153 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
