My journey at NCC began as a student in 2003 in the Marketing program. In 2011, I became an Adjunct in the Marketing department and in 2017 I was hired as a full time Instructor. Currently I instruct within the Marketing, Fashion Buying, Merchandising and Retail department. Prior to NCC, I worked in luxury retail management and special event marketing and development.

Throughout my career I have received an award here and there, and published an article or two, but the biggest honor for me was when NCC hired me as a full-time instructor. They provided me with the opportunity to give back to the College that made a huge difference in my life. The experiences I was exposed to were invaluable and the advisors (who I have the privilege of having as colleagues now) are two of the most supportive women I’ve ever met. To piggyback on that memory, I am now the Advisor of the Marketing Club and strive to provide those experiences for my students. (If you’re interested in joining, reach out to me)!

NCC means so much more to me than a great education at an “affordable” cost or a great career. It is made up of very supportive, talented and kind faculty and bright, amazing students. What is most special to me at NCC are the lifelong relationships I’ve built with both colleagues and students.

I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.
