Garden City, NY — In Sistas on Fire! The interrelated dramatic monologues examine pressing social issues from an African American female perspective.

Performed January 24-26 and January 29 through February 2, 2020 at the Mainstage Theatre, Sistas on Fire! A Newsical was written by NCC professors Marcia McNair and Anissa Moore. It’s directed by Juson Williams.

Performances of the play are at 8:00 p.m.; Sundays at 3:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $10; the cost for seniors 55 and over, students and veterans is $8. All proceeds from the Sunday, February 2nd show will go to the Dr. Kenneth V. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship Fund.
