Local Resident Receives Student Activities Award

Garden City, NY — At a recent ceremony, Brian Almeida-Torres, a resident of Jamaica and a student at Nassau Community College, received the NCC Student Activities Award, presented by the Student Activities Staff.

The Student Activities Award recognizes students who have made important contributions to student activities or athletic programs at NCC through active participation and dedication.

Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have completed at least 45 credits.
