Garden City, NY – The Nassau Community College Cultural Program is proud to present "You Know I'm Right:  More Prosperity, Less Government," a talk by business journalist Michelle Caruso-Cabrera. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the College Center Building.

During "You Know I'm Right:  More Prosperity, Less Government," straight-talking Michelle Caruso-Cabrera will offer her solution to our nation's social and economic ills:  fiscal conservatism, limited government and personal accountability. Caruso-Cabrera is currently an anchor and reporter for CNBC's Business Day programming, and part of its daily "Power Lunch." She has been named one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the country by "HispanicBusiness" magazine. "You Know I'm Right:  More Prosperity, Less Government," written in 2010, is her first book.

Caruso-Cabrera joined CNBC in 1998 from WTSP-TV in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she spent four years as a general assignment reporter. Prior to joining WTSP, Caruso-Cabrera was a special projects producer for Univision, where she gained extensive experience covering Latin America. She began her career as a stringer for "The New York Times," reporting on education issues.

Caruso-Cabrera is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she received a degree in economics.
