 “Responsible 100” by City & State New York

December 22, Garden City, NY – Phillip Culver, Senior Director, Office of Civil Rights and Belonging at Nassau Community College, has been named one of the “Responsible 100” by City & State New York.

“I am dedicated to advancing the college’s mission of fostering a fair, nondiscriminatory, and inclusive environment for all,” said Culver, a resident of Mineola.  According to Culver, social responsibility means using one’s position and influence to advance equity, integrity, and the common good.  His guiding principle of “servant leadership’’ ensures that he leads with empathy, accountability, and a commitment to creating environments where individuals feel supported, valued, and able to thrive.

The Responsible 100 were recognized at a ceremony in New York City on December 17.
