Nassau Community College Accreditation Reaffirmed Through 2032-2033 by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education

July 1, 2025, Garden City, NY – Nassau Community College accreditation was reaffirmed by the independent Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) through 2032-2033. Middle States accreditation is an expression of confidence in an institution's mission and goals, its performance, and its resources. An institution is accredited when the educational community has verified that its goals are achieved through self-regulation and peer review. Nassau Community College, part of the State University of New York, has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 1967. Middle States accreditation assures students and the public of the educational quality of the college. Accreditation reviews typically occur every eight years.

“The faculty, administration and staff at NCC have worked very hard to have the institution’s accreditation reaffirmed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education as part of our ongoing efforts to provide students with a comprehensive education and outstanding supportive atmosphere,” said Dr. Maria Conzatti, Chief Administrative Officer at Nassau Community College. “We look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence in higher education and transforming lives.”

Additional details will be forthcoming as MSCHE provides the complete report.
