for the Fall 2023 Semester

Industry Professionals Provide a Perspective of Work in Their Respective Industries

What: The Marketing, Retailing, Fashion Buying & Merchandising, Fashion Design, and Interior Design Department at Nassau Community College hosts Guest Professor for a Day series throughout the Fall 2023 semester.

Who/ When:

  • September 27, 11:00 a.m.: Priscilla Korb, Newsday Social Media Producer;
    Gabriella Vukelic, Newsday Social Media Editor
  • October 19, 10:00 a.m.: Jennifer O’Conner, Product Development/Design, at Luxotica
  • November 9, 8:30 a.m.: Joseph DeBello, Owner at Hitch, Owner at Bestea, Director of Business Development at Manex USA
  • December 5, 10:00 a.m.: Terrence Cave, Operating Director at PDQ

Where: All lectures will be given on the College’s campus in the Tower Building, Floor 11, and via Zoom.

Why: The Guest Professor for a Day series engages, inspires and educates students by having industry professionals discuss their day-to-day business experiences.
