I’m reluctant to share how long I’ve been a part of the NCC community because I started at the school as a student! I became a full-time faculty member in 2009 and teach reading and writing. In 2015, I became one of the Coordinators of the Honors Program. I enjoy helping students achieve their educational goals and celebrating their achievements.

It's wonderful to collaborate with students and faculty who care deeply about the Honors Program and the success of all its members. When I first joined the NCC community as a student, I had no idea that I could love learning. All these years later, I love watching students as they start to understand that, too.

I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.
