Nassau Community College Unveils Rebranded Lion Mascot

GARDEN CITY, NY – September 10, 2026 – Nassau Community College (NCC) proudly unveiled its rebranded lion mascot and logo on September 10, marking an exciting new chapter for NCC athletics and campus life.

Students, faculty, staff, and members of the NCC community gathered to celebrate as the College introduced the rebranded design representing the strength, determination, and spirit of Nassau Community College. 

The College looks forward to showcasing the rebrand of Leo the Lion at events throughout the academic year and creating new traditions that will bring the NCC community together for years to come.
