Nassau Community College Partners with Career Day Inc. for 2026 Summer Soirée Celebrating Student Success and Career Exploration

GARDEN CITY, NY  — Nassau Community College recently partnered with Career Day Inc. to host the organization’s 2026 Summer Soirée, an evening celebrating the impact of career exploration, student achievement and community partnerships.

Held Thursday, August 20, at the Nassau Community College President’s House, the event brought together educators, community leaders, business professionals, volunteers, sponsors and supporters to celebrate Career Day Inc.’s accomplishments during the 2025–2026 school year and look ahead to new opportunities for students in the coming year.

The evening featured live music, raffles, refreshments and stories highlighting the ways Career Day Inc.’s programs help students explore career possibilities, build confidence and prepare for their futures. The event also recognized the school partners, volunteers, sponsors and supporters whose contributions help make the organization’s programs possible.

Career Day Inc. provides career exploration opportunities designed to expose students to different professions and help them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths. The organization’s programs include career exploration experiences, career panels, scholarships and opportunities for students to connect with professionals from a variety of industries.

The Summer Soirée also marked the beginning of Career Day Inc.’s efforts for the 2026–2027 school year, with fundraising supporting continued career exploration programs, scholarships and connections between students and professionals throughout the community.
