Nassau Community College Hosts Women’s Diversity Network 2026 Diversity Summit Celebrating Unity, Leadership, and Community Empowerment
Garden City, NY, — Nassau Community College (NCC) proudly welcomed hundreds of students, professionals, advocates, and community leaders for the Women’s Diversity Network (WDN) 2026 Diversity Summit, an annual day-long event dedicated to educating, advocating, and celebrating diversity through powerful dialogue, workshops, and cultural engagement. The summit took place on NCC’s campus in the College Center Building and marked another successful collaboration between NCC and WDN in advancing inclusive leadership development.
The ninth annual summit brought together attendees from across Long Island and beyond for an immersive experience featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, interactive workshops, multicultural performances, and networking opportunities. Sessions addressed a broad range of timely topics, including maternal health, mental wellness, immigration, youth leadership, civic engagement, and educational equity.
The Women’s Diversity Network, a Long Island-based nonprofit organization, has become a leading force in promoting unity, education, and social advocacy through annual summits and year-round programming. Since its founding, WDN has focused on building stronger communities through workshops, networking, and cultural awareness initiatives.
Participants at the 2026 Diversity Summit engaged in a vibrant day of learning, empowerment, and celebration, with opportunities to connect across industries and communities while gaining practical tools for leadership and advocacy. The event also showcased multicultural cuisine and entertainment, reinforcing WDN’s mission of honoring diversity in all its forms.
