Nassau Community College Hosts “We Are the Future Summit” Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders
Garden City, NY, April 24, 2026 — Nassau Community College (NCC) proudly hosted the “We Are the Future Summit,” a dynamic, high-energy event organized in partnership with Minority Millennials, bringing together more than 800 students for a day focused on leadership, empowerment, and career readiness.
Held on the NCC campus, the summit convened students, educators, and industry professionals for an immersive experience designed to inspire the next generation of leaders. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, participants engaged with thought leaders across business, government, media, and entrepreneurship.
The “We Are the Future Summit” emphasized the importance of representation, access, and opportunity in shaping career pathways for young people. Sessions focused on leadership development, financial literacy, personal branding, and navigating professional environments, equipping attendees with practical tools for long-term success.
Minority Millennials, the organization behind the summit, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of diverse leaders by connecting students with resources, mentorship, and real-world insights.
