Eugene Alletto
Garden City, NY — Nassau Community College recently welcomed students, faculty, and
community members to its “Business in America Day,” held on March 30, 2026, in the
College Center Building. The event featured engaging discussions led by distinguished
alumnus Eugene Alletto, founder and CEO of Bedgear.
Alletto delivered two well-attended sessions, sharing insights from his entrepreneurial
journey and offering valuable perspectives on leadership, innovation, and building
a successful brand in today’s competitive marketplace. Drawing from his experience
as the head of a performance-driven lifestyle company, he emphasized the importance
of adaptability, purpose-driven business strategies, and resilience.
Students had the opportunity to engage directly with Alletto, asking questions about
career pathways, entrepreneurship, and the evolving landscape of American business.
His return to campus as a featured speaker highlighted the impact of Nassau Community
College alumni across industries and inspired attendees to pursue their own professional
ambitions.
Hosted by the College’s Business and Professional Studies Department, “Business in
America Day” reflects Nassau Community College’s ongoing commitment to providing experiential
learning opportunities and connecting students with accomplished professionals.
