Nassau Community College Sets New Military
Tuition Rate for Active Service Members

Program Aligns Tuition with Federal Tuition Benefits
to Expand Access for Those Currently Serving

November 17, Garden City, NY — Nassau Community College is pleased to announce that it has joined the launch of the SUNY Military Tuition Rate Program, a new system-wide initiative that will ensure NCC’s academic excellence is fully affordable for active-duty service members, members of the National Guard, and members of the Reserves.

“Our service members make tremendous sacrifices in defense of our country, and it’s our honor to support them in return,” said Nassau Community College Chief Administrative Officer Maria Conzatti. “By offering a reduced tuition rate for active-duty military, National Guard, and Reserve members, we’re helping ensure they have access to affordable, high-quality education that strengthens both their futures and our communities.”

This initiative ensures that those currently serving can access high-quality, affordable undergraduate degree and microcredential programs in person or online without additional costs or barriers. The program addresses a long-standing challenge faced by active service members whose federal tuition assistance often falls short of full tuition at public universities.

The program will begin in the Spring 2026 semester at NCC.

Nassau Community College is grateful to all who serve in our country’s armed forces.
