October 17, Garden City, NY — Nassau Community College is pleased to announce that Patricia Noren, Director of Financial Aid, is the recipient of a 2025 Bette Frisino Award from SICAS, SUNY Student Information and Campus Administrative Systems, for her work on the SUNY Reconnect project.

SICAS provides support to campuses in the form of staff augmentation for both technical and end user offices. The award was renamed to the Bette Frisino Award in 2020.
SUNY Reconnect offers no cost associate degrees in sought-after fields for New Yorkers 25 to 55 years old with no college degree. Students who meet the criteria may enroll full-time or part-time in various programs with their tuition, fees, books, and supplies covered.
