SUNY Nassau Community College Celebrates the Arts with Arts Alive!

An interdepartmental collaboration of the arts
May 5 - May 8

WHO: SUNY Nassau Community College celebrates the arts with performances, workshops and open galleries. Celebration includes participation from multiple academic departments. Special guests include performers from LIHSA (Long Island High School for the Arts), The American Theatre Dance Workshop - ATDW Theatre Dance Company, and Farmingdale High School.

WHAT: Exploring the forces that shape us as humans, Arts Alive highlights the outstanding talents and artistic abilities of the students at SUNY Nassau Community College. Workshops & Galleries are open to the public. There are workshops in ballet, modern dance, dance for musical theatre, contemporary dance, movement for the actor, and acting. There is also an Immersive Art Exhibit featuring original visual art works created by SUNY Nassau artists and fashion designers.

General Admission Tickets: $10.00.
NCC Students: Free with Valid ID on weekdays. $5.00 Saturday & Sunday.
Discount Tickets: $8.00 - Veterans, Alumni, SUNY Nassau Employees and Seniors 60+.
Non-SUNY Nassau Students: $8.00
