Nassau Community College is pleased to announce the replacement of its current computerized Student Information System with a new system called BANNER. This conversion will improve services to students, faculty, staff, and administration for all FALL 2008 processes. However, it will NOT affect student and business processes for the current SPRING and SUMMER semesters.
The BANNER system conversion is a complex undertaking that will improve the College’s day-to-day business activities. We ask for your patience while we implement new functions and new ways of servicing students. While our dedicated faculty and staff have been undergoing training, it may take a bit longer to look up information and/or process requests during this transition time.
BANNER will better serve the College by including the significant step of replacing Social Security numbers with a “Nassau ID” number. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this conversion. We will provide periodic updates to keep you informed as the project develops.
What if I am having login trouble when I am not on campus?
Please call the Banner Help Desk at 516-572-9980 between 8AM and 8PM M-F for your Banner login questions.
Important: the Help Desk will not be a resource for your academic questions or concerns, which should be directed to the appropriate academic advisor.
