• The I-20 document that’s required before you can get the F-1 student visa to study in the United States.

You must be accepted into a program of study at Nassau Community College before an I-20 can be issued, and you must have an I-20 document before an F-1 visa can be approved.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Once you receive your I-20 document, you must pay the $200 SEVIS/I-901 fee. When you have your I-901 receipt, go to the nearest U.S. Consulate to request an F-1 student visa or find out more at the U.S. government website.
