Classics For Kids at Nassau Community College "Pocahontas – The Peace Maker" February 28

Garden City, NY The popular series Classics for Kids continues at Nassau Community College on Sunday, February 28 with the family ballet "Pocahontas - The Peace Maker". Tickets cost $1.50 per person. Performances will take place at 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. in the College Center Building on the NCC campus.

"Pocahontas - The Peace Maker" is a new ballet for the entire family. It's the story of a young girl who believed in peace between Native Americans and English colonialists. Pocahontas is most famous for reportedly saving the life of English captain John Smith. Ballet Long Island has performed for many years in the Classics for Kids series to the great enjoyment of our family audiences. The ballet is complete with beautiful costumes, scenery and inspired dancing.
