What is the Women's Student Association?

We are a club that meets every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (club hour) in Nassau Hall Room 222 to chat about different things relating to women and human rights issues.

What do we discuss?

We usually talk about things that concern us, like family, school, jobs, relationships, social and political issues.   We host programs that discuss human rights, with a focus on women's rights, both locally and globally.

What is so good about being a member?

The value of being a member is to know that there is a place where we can be ourselves, talk about our ideas, our real problems, concerns, and exchange opinions on different topics. We also provide leadership opportunities for all students.

What we gain:

We learn a lot about ourselves and the world we live in. We are sure that if you join the Women's Student Association/Student Association for Human Rights with an open heart you will never regret having done so. It is a great place to get to know other interesting people, to learn and to get help. All points of view are welcome. We all hope to see you there soon.
