THE WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER - WHAT IS IT?
A place that serves all members of the college community by providing programs on women's issues. All are invited to the Women's Resource Center to share concerns regarding personal and political issues important to women (and men). Please contact Women's Resource Center coordinators for information.
A place that provides referral information and resource material on a wide variety of topics including birth control, career, legal problems, health, women's networks, personal and social issues.
A place where you can speak to counselors regarding concerns including sexual harassment, date rape, domestic violence or any other issues.
A place where you can read, study, or browse through the many books and magazines, such as MS, Latina, and Essence.
A place where you can attend programs on body image, healthy relationships, current issues of concern to women.

The Women's Center serves Nassau Community College students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumnae, and all other members of the college community. Our goal is to promote respect for the dignity of all people with particular emphasis on gender equality. We serve Nassau Community College students, faculty, staff and alumnae.
