5. Q. What type of job should I look for, if I’m not sure what I want to do?
A. To begin with, try to determine your career goal by assessing your skills, interests, values, personality type
and preferred work environment. Consider utilizing the Career Counseling and Testing Center (M-14) to help you.
Answering these two questions may also help:
#1. What type of work do you think you want to do?
#2. Is there any type of work that you know for certain that you don’t want to do?
6. Q. Do I need a resume when I come into the Job Placement Office to look for work?
A. If you bring in your resume it would expedite your job search, but it is not required. Additionally, there are
resume guides in our office and counselors to assist you with preparing your resume.
