Garden City, N.Y. - The Nassau Community College Winter 2007 Traveling Professor Lecture Series has something for everyone. Explore the world through this unique and engaging travel series. From Paris to Ethiopia, these diverse speakers from the Nassau Community College faculty will share their fascinating travel experiences and observations with the community:


Portugal’s Volcanic Island of Madeira: Hiking its Caves, Coves, Canals and Cliffs

Patricia Caro, History/Political Science/Geography

Prof. Caro explored the renowned outdoors of Madeira, a set of two mini-islands

off the coast of Morocco, in January.
