NCC is a test site for the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). Sponsored by the College Board, CLEP offers the opportunity to receive college credit by earning qualifying scores on one or more of 34 exams in the disciplines of business, composition and literature, foreign language, history and social sciences, and science and mathematics. There are 2, 900 colleges that grant credit and /or advanced standing for CLEP exams.
The exam fee is $72 payable to CLEP. There is an administrative fee of $30 payable to Nassau Community College. There is also an additional $20 fee for exams with essays. Please contact the office if you need an exam with an optional essay.
CLEP testing is open to all who register in advance.
