NEW STUDENTS are those who have never registered at NCC. See student types below to assist you in the application process.
RETURNING STUDENTS are those who have attended NCC in the past and either:
1) HAVE NOT attended another institution since their period of enrollment at NCC.
These student may go to the Office of the Registrar to be re-admitted, or
2) HAVE ATTENDED another institution since their period of enrollment at NCC and are
interested in seeking a degree at NCC. These students should follow the Transfer option
listed below to re-apply. If they are not interested in pursuing a degree, they should follow the
Non-Degree option listed below.
STUDENT TYPES
Please click on the type of student you will be while attending NCC based on the following descriptions:
Degree Seeking - Students pursuing a degree or certificate at NCC are 'matriculated' into a program
Transfer - Students transferring to NCC who have attended another institution
Non-Degree - Students not interested in pursuing a degree or certificate at NCC
Non high school graduate - Students who PLAN TO GRADUATE from high school and are interested in an Early Admissions option and plan to seek a degree OR interested in the High School Enrichment option as non-degree seeking students
International student - Students who are non-citizens or on temporary visas and are interested in studying in the United States are 'matriculated' into a program
GED Program - Students who are 18 years of age (or older) and whose high school senior class graduated at least one year ago, may complete 24 college credits in order to receive a GED.
Visiting - Students enrolled in or attending another institution but interested in enrolling for courses at NCC for no longer than two semesters.
