This full-time academic program is offered by Nassau Community College, a unit of the State University of New York, to international partner schools. It combines academic courses with a paid internship at the Walt Disney World® Resort, a 47-square-mile “learning laboratory” near Orlando, Florida. It is intended for students who are studying at an institution of higher education. 

This unique program provides an outstanding opportunity for students to obtain hands-on experience which complements the academic curriculum.

While in Florida, students live in fully-furnished one to four bedroom apartments with 24-hour security.
The housing facilities are located near the Walt Disney World®Resort and a bus system provides transportation to work, class and social activities.

Program Options...

The academic component consists of a Nassau Community College internship course plus two courses that will be given by the Disney College Program. 
Courses are chosen from the following: Experiential Learning, Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing You and Organizational Leadership. 
Length of the program is dependent upon the choice of one of the following options:

Option A – Student flies directly to Orlando, Florida for the 5 to 7 month Walt Disney World® International Program

Option B – Six night stay adjacent to our campus to visit cultural sites followed by the Walt Disney World® International Program near Orlando, Florida

Option C – Two to three months of English language proficiency training followed by the Walt Disney World® International Program near Orlando, Florida

All Options Include:

• An orientation to studying and living in the U.S.A.

• Study in the areas of business, marketing or hospitality

• Highly experienced faculty, plus the opportunity to meet Disney leaders

• Five to seven months at Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.

Career Opportunities...

Students are prepared for professional and entry level management positions in various areas related to business, hotel/restaurant management or marketing.
