Criminal Justice System
CRJ 220CA Lecci
ECO 100BA Schroder
The causes and effects of female criminality are widely debated. Are women offenders actually victims of larger social and economic issues, do they bring these problems on themselves or are they just in the wrong place at the wrong time? This learning community explores some of the reasons why women find themselves involved with the criminal justice system by viewing it from an economic and social perspective. Topics discussed help to identify the connection between gender, economics and the criminal justice system.
