1. At the My Courses page, select the Discussions icon in the Course News
items under the course name.
Or
Within the course section:
• Click on the Discussions tool link from the
Course Tools menu. Or, your instructor
may have placed the Discussions link
in the Course Materials folder.
• A green and white star indicates that
there is a new discussion posting.
2. Click on the name of the topic.
3. Select Create Message.
4. Type a message subject.
5. Type your discussion posting in the
message box. Remember that your
message can be read by the whole
class.
6. Add an attachment to your post, if needed.
7. Select Post to place on discussion board.
Reply to a Discussion Post
To reply to another student’s post:
• Select the message you would like to
respond to.
• Reply to the message.
Below the message screen, all responses to the message are threaded.
