The chat feature is a way for you to communicate with your instructor and other students in real time.
To Locate the Chatroom:
Click on the Chat tool link from the Course Tools Menu. Or your instructor may have placed the Chatroom link in the Course Materials folder. Click on the name of the Chatroom or its ActionLinks icon (drop-down arrow).
Hand-raise Mode
Depending on whether your instructor has the
hand-raise mode on, you may have to click on
Raise Your Hand and wait your turn to type.
In this example, the hand-raise mode is turned on.
To chat:
• Type your message in the bottom box.
• Either click Send or press Enter.
