Honors Program Extracurricular Activities

Over the years, the Honors Program has continually grown and expanded. Students have the opportunity to supplement their academic work with extracurricular activities.

LITERARY JOURNAL:  Each year, Honors students produce a literary journal that includes original works: poetry, stories, essays and art.

HONORS CLUB:  The club organizes a wide variety of activities for students in the program and sends representatives to sit on the Honors Committee, the policy making body of the program.

TRIPS AND SPEAKERS:  Each year, Honors students take part in visiting a place of interest determined by the Honors Club. A typical visit might include a Broadway play. In addition, the Honors Club sponsors a topical speaker for the College community.

ACADEMIC CONFERENCE:  Honors students can attend the Northeast Region of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NENCHC) Conference and make a presentation at this event. Presentations are based on a topic of interest to Honors faculty and students. The theme of the conference varies each year.
