The English department offers several courses in creative writing.
The prerequisites for all creative writing courses are English 101 and 102 (or 108 and 109). In addition, permission of the instructor is required for the single genre courses (English 316, 317, 318).

Luna is the literary magazine written, edited and published by the Creative Writing Club, a group of Nassau Community College students who share a common interest in expressing themselves through language. The Club meets during club hours (T, Th 11:30-12:45) in Bradley Hall, room 218. Luna appears once a year at the end of the Spring semester.
