If you are listed as "D" status on your transcript, it means that you have not earned
a minimum grade point average to be a full-time student in good standing. You are therefore limited to part-time status and may register for a maximum of 11 credits. You are also in danger of academic dismissal. Therefore, you will not be able to register until you meet with an EDUCATIONAL COUNSELOR. This is a serious matter that requires time for discussion for the causes and solutions to this situation. Nassau Community College places great importance on helping our students achieve success. We cannot help you if you do not meet with us.

In addition to making an appointment with an Educational Counselor, attendance at the one of the following workshops will provide you with strategies that can prepare you to be more successful in the future.
