Nassau Community College Launches New Website

Garden City, NY Nassau Community College is proud to launch its new website, ncc.edu, on Friday, November 17, 2010. The site has many new and improved features, such as:

• a user-centered, cutting-edge design
• a more streamlined method to communicate with the media through   RSS (real simple syndication)
• a new, online College catalog
• a new virtual tour

Development of the new website involved a year of planning, designing, programming and usability studies. It’s content was reviewed in order to develop a strong, compelling and consistent editorial voice for the College. Focus groups of students, faculty and staff were conducted, and their suggestions were incorporated into the site.
