COLLEGE RELATIONS F/T Assistant Graphic Artist/Designer – In House:
The Assistant Graphic Artist will work under the direct supervision of the Director of College Relations and the Graphic Artist. Works with and assists the Graphic Artist in design, page layout and production of printed College collateral and materials in addition to website design and website content management. Requirements: Solid knowledge of print production and pre-press procedures required; Web design experience necessary; Keen sense of design and typography; Photography background and/or knowledge a plus. Skill Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency of MAC operating system. Must be proficient in the following software: InDesign, Photoshop/Image Ready, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite. Some experience with the following software: Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver, Fireworks a plus. Familiarity with HTML and CSS necessary. Knowledge of graphical file formats, pre-press and print production methods. Qualifications: BA in Graphics or related field. Requires 2-5 years minimum experience. Proficient in MAC based graphic/web design software. Successful applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines. MIS P/T Administrative Assistant I: Performs/assists technical IT services for NCC staff, faculty and students with a variety of computer hardware and software related user services including Help Desk call and callback operations, PC repair, computer set up, PC inventory and security management, email operations, and computer installation services. Other technical computer related duties may be assigned as needed. This position will be supervised by MIS computer and/or network technical staff. Qualifications: Associate Degree in a computer related field required. One year experience providing technical service for personal computers with knowledge of windows and macintosh computers desired. (Reply Box 70-08)
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION P/T Statistician: Reports directly to the Assistant to the President for Affirmative Action and Diversity. Responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data relating to the composition of the College workforce; Reports on protected classes’ employment at the College; Prepares statistical compliance reports on College M/WBE efforts and Affirmative Action programs; Assists in providing data to determine if the College is achieving voluntary goals and objectives; Creates graphs and charts; Collects and enters employee data; Completes various surveys, including, but not limited to: Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS); College and University Personnel Association (CUPA); Hispanic Outlook; Middle States Annual Institutional Profile; NYS Occupational Employment Report. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business or Business Organization or related field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree in disciplines preferred; 2 – 3 years of satisfactory experience in developing statistical reports. Must have experience using SQL to retrieve data from a database; preferably in a College or University setting. Microsoft Access a plus. Must be proficient in preparing charts and graphs in Microsoft Excel. Successful applicant should possess some knowledge of EEO/AA regulatory requirements; requires excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills. Previous experience preparing an Affirmative Action Statistical Compliance Report and/or IPEDS report a plus. Knowledge of student information and human resources components of Banner System ++. STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES: P/T N.Y.S. Registered Professional Nurse
CPR/AED certification and five years of professional nursing experience is required. Experience in college or school nursing is preferred. Medical/surgical, emergency room, community health nursing is acceptable. Flexible day and evening hours are required. Nursing duties include: emergency care, work with college physician during clinics, perform preliminary screening tests, screen immunization records and health forms, and provide health information, teaching, and counseling as required. HUMAN RESOURCES Benefits Administrator (Sr. Human Resource Associate):
The Benefits Administrator reports directly to Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. Duties include: Maintain the College Benefit system and update employee information in an accurate and timely manner; Coordinate an effective New Hire Orientation Program for faculty and staff; Provide updates to the college faculty and staff in regards to changes that affect their benefits; Update and maintain the Human Resources web site benefit information; Train Human Resource support staff; Conduct retirement exit interviews; Implement information/promotional programs for benefits representative; Supervise time and leave unit.
