NCC Fall Semester
For the Fall, under the guidance of State and County officials, and placing health and safety first, NCC will provide the majority of courses that can be instructed remotely or online in this format. Courses that have critical components and require face-to-face instruction, including classes with lab components that cannot easily be replicated remotely, will be instructed on-campus in a face-to-face format following appropriate health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain the safety of the NCC community.
Current Exhibit:BODIES IN TRANSIT September 1 – October 15, 2015 Artist’s Reception: Thursday, September 24th, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Gallery. All are welcome. The Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery is proud to collaborate with the Latin American Studies Project, with Professor Rick J. Santos, Ph.D as Curator. The name of this exciting exhibit is called "BODIES IN TRANSIT" with featured contemporary Brazilian artists Alex Ferro, Mary Dutra, Valeria Veiga, and Wilton Garcia. The exhibit continues across the “plaza” at the A. Holly Patterson Library, host to Alex Ferro’s digital images. This exhibit was made possible through the Latino Americans grant. The Latino Americans: 500 Years of History, is a public programming initiative produced by the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the American Library Association.
