The 24 Credit Program at NCC allows students to take college classes that count towards High School Equivalency (HSE) and a college degree. Students must be 18 years of age or older, be one year past the date from when they would have graduated from high school and have a genuine desire to obtain a college degree.
Students complete college credits in a variety of areas including math, humanities, English language arts, social science and natural science. Academic advisors will be available to help with course selection.
Once the student has completed the appropriate 24 credits, the student must apply to Albany to receive their HSE, issued on the basis of those college credits. The college credits will then also apply to their degree program.
