The Nassau Community College Department of Theatre and Dance Presents the Children's Musical "Really Rosie", October 11 – October 26

Garden City NY The Department of Theatre and Dance at Nassau Community College is pleased to present Really Rosie, its fall 2008 children's musical. Performances of Really Rosie will take place at the Little Theatre as follows: October 11, 18 and 25 at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.; October 12, 19 and 26 at 2:00 p.m. and October 17 at 7:00 p.m.

Really Rosie is about Rosie, the sassiest kid on Brooklyn's Avenue P, who entertains herself and her friends by acting out show biz fantasies, including directing and starring in an Oscar-winning movie based on the exciting, dramatic, funny and "slightly" exaggerated story of her life. Written by Maurice Sendak, the author and illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are and other popular children's books, with music by Carole King, the songs in Really Rosie will stay with you and your children long after the big finale.

Tickets for Really Rosie cost $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. College students with valid current I.D. will be admitted for free. For more information or to order tickets, call 516.572.7676.
