The Nassau Community College Fall 2008 Cultural Program Presents A Republican/Conservative Point of View Rich Lowry, October 22

Garden City, NY The Nassau Community College Fall 2008 Cultural Program is proud to present Rich Lowry in A Republican/Conservative Point of View on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the College Center Building.

Rich Lowry is editor of the National Review. He’s also a syndicated columnist and a commentator for Fox News Channel. Lowry has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest and a variety of other publications. His book, Legacy: Paying the Price for the Clinton Years, was a New York Times bestseller.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Lowry was active on campus as the editor of a conservative monthly magazine called the Virginia Advocate. Following graduation, he went to work as a research assistant for Charles Krauthammer.

Lowry joined the National Review in 1992, after finishing second in a National Review young writers contest. He became articles editor for the magazine before moving to Washington to cover Congress in 1994. Lowry then became editor of the publication.
