Garden City, NY– The Nassau Community College Art Department is honored to present Private Addiction, an installation by internationally renowned Brazilian artist Gustavo Von Ha. The exhibit at the Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery runs from March 11 through April 16.Von Ha's work comes alive through fleeting reflections in dome-like mirrors that are placed throughout the space. Viewers become an integral part of the installation with each step they take. "Most of my work is inspired by the memories I have and images I have taken in the countryside of Sao Paulo. I like the idea of reflections and transparencies," he says.

Von Ha has dazzled viewers throughout the world. Installations have been seen in Italy, Greece, Japan, England and New York as well as throughout South America.
