The Nassau Community College Center for Catholic Studies Presents "Communicating the Truth About the Perils and Promises of the Contemporary Biotech Revolution: A Crucial Task for the Catholic Community, June 21

Garden City, NY  The Nassau Community College Center for Catholic Studies invites the community to its upcoming conference, Communicating the Truth About the Perils and Promises of the Contemporary Biotech Revolution: A Crucial Task for the Catholic Community, which will take place on Saturday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the College Center Building.

The conference keynote speaker will be Rick Hinshaw, editor of the Long Island Catholic newspaper. His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Jane Gilroy, president of the Long Island chapter of University Faculty for Life; Dr. Debra Hanna, R.N., Assistant Professor of Nursing at Molloy College; and the Rev. Monsignor Robert J. Batule, Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Although there is no cost to attend this conference, which is co-sponsored by the Long Island chapter of University Faculty for Life, all attendees are required to register with the NCC Office of Lifelong Learning, One Education Drive, Garden City, NY (516.572.7472).
