The Theatre Department at Nassau Community College Presents "Wait Until Dark" — Frederick Knott's Exciting Mystery Thriller, April 3 - 6 & 9 - 13

Garden City, NY The Theatre and Dance Department at Nassau Community College invites the community to attend a performance Wait Until Dark, an exciting mystery thriller written by Frederick Knott. The play will be performed April 3 through April 6 and April 9 through April 13 at the Mainstage Theatre.When brutal criminals break into her apartment to recover the heroin filled doll that her husband has unwittingly smuggled into the country, can a blind Greenwich Village housewife fight back? Audrey Hepburn received Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for best actress for her role in the film based on the play and its shocking climax.

Performances of Wait Until Dark are at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for the play cost $9.00; seniors and groups of ten or more may purchase a ticket for $7.00. High school and college students with valid I.D. will be admitted free. This production has been made possible through a special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. and is sponsored by the Nassau Community College Faculty Student Association.
