The Nassau Community College Campus Service Committee Presents “Global Warming, Global Disaster”

March 30

Garden City, NY–Nassau Community College is pleased to present the program "Global Warming, Global Disaster" on Friday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the College Center Building. The speakers at the event will be Jason Babbie from the Board of Directors of the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), where he directs clean air and energy legislative and regulatory campaigns; Prof. Lisa Bastiaans of the NCC Physical Sciences Department, who has been teaching meteorology and climatology for 27 years; and Dr. Beth Christensen, who is a professor of environmental studies at Adelphi University and has investigated long term climate changes.
